Dutch Treat Haze

Strain Name: Dutch Treat Haze

Genetics: Secret Haze x Dutch Treat

Source: Boulder M.M.C

Grade: A+

Type: Mostly Sativa

Looks: This flower is so unique in every aspect. Although what is pictured is very tiny, the proliferation and abundance of trichomes is very noticeable with amber colored heads throughout. This is a good indication that this medicine was allowed to mature for it’s full flowering period. There were absolutely no flaws with this grow as no hermie developments were apparent. This DTH has nice copper/amber colored hairs with light green sativa tones throughout. The nugs are rock hard and have some of the most unique shapes for a sativa strain.

Smell: This DTH has a very sweet haze like smell that hits right away with a little bit of the spice funk you get with certain haze strains as well. After grinding this strain, it gives off the more nutmeg cinnamon spice smell that is so pleasant. Describing smells of strains that don’t represent anything other than good bud is hard but this one is one of those strains that you smell and know exactly what strain…its the Dutch.

Taste: A very pleasant haze taste that is reminiscent of the sweet haze smell pre grind. This strain is definitely above average on expansiveness but not as expansive as certain sativas like Sour Diesel.

Effects: This is really where this strain shines. After taking two nice rips from a small glass piece i noticed instantaneous full-fledged sativa effects. Instant head pressure, raciness, slight dizziness, perception alteration, spaciness, and reddening of the eyes. This can be slightly anxiety producing for some who are not used to heavy psychoactive affects or for beginner smokers. About 20-30 minutes after the initial instantaneous effects, a slightly more indica feel came into play that still incorporated the strong sativa effects. This can induce creativity and heighten musical and artistic appreciation.

Potency: 9.5/10 Potency. 2-3 hours of affects Tested at 24% THC at RM3 labs!

Strain Name: Dairy Queen

Genetics: Cheese X Romulan X Cindy 99

Breeder: TGA Subcool

Grade: A+

Type: Hybrid Sativa Dominant – 60% Sativa / 40% Indica

Looks: Loaded with crystals. Darker green bud with bright orange hair. Super sticky. A few random nugs had a blueish purple leaves. Very gooey and sticky, even when the outside is bone dry. Looks killer, just not as good as other strains that I have given a ten out of ten in the looks dept. This batch was a tad bit leafy, but the leaves were packed with crystals so it was kosher. (9/10)

Smell: Super unique and delicious smell. Smells like a pungent cherry cheese cake slice with a hint of non burnt fuel, earth, clay, and a dash of sour. Slight dash of haze. (10/10)

Taste: All the buds look similar, but some have completely different tastes. There is 3 main flavors I discovered. The first type have a very earthy, clay like, perfumey inhale with a sort of perfumey exhale. The second type tastes very similar to the kush. A very piney, fruity, kush, spicey, earthy taste, this was my favorite flavor. The third type tastes similar to the smell, packing a cherry earthy cheese like flavor with a smooth exhale. The second and third type were the best tasting. Those were a ten out of ten. The first flavor type was a eight out of ten. (9/10)

Effects: Day or night time use. Small amounts gave off the perfect sativa medicinal effects. In larger amounts it felt like a heavy indica. Very potent medicine and well rounded effects! Faded without the munchies or being couchlocked. (10/10)

Potency: Very Strong (9/10)

Good For: Stress, relaxing, anxiety, depression, creative thoughts, and pain relief.

Notes: Seems as if there as three phenotypes in this batch, I liked them all, but the kush / black licorice tasting phenotype was my absolute favorite. Puts out a thick vapor bag from the volcano. The second and third and even the fourth bag that I ran through the volcano still put out a delicious flavor, no burnt popcorn or spent tasting trees here. I really like everything about this strain – it is definitely one of a kind!

Purple Haze

traits: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Strain Name: Purple Haze

Grade: A

Type: Hybrid mainly Sativa (rumored to be a Thai/Colombian Haze crossed with an early Dutch Skunk.

Looks: Vivid purple with bright green leaves and an ample coating of bright orange hairs.

Smell: Extremely Aromatic with smells ranging from heady inscense to a woodsy, almost Sandlewood aroma, to a deeply earthy Haze undertone. Very satisfying olefactry experience indeed.

Taste: The most “Purple” taste of any medicine I’ve ever experienced. Grape candy on the inhale and earthy Sandlewood inscense on the exhale. Almost exactly like the Smell.

Effects: Very soaring, rushy, euphoric effect that is not at all edgey or uncomfortable. This medicine made me fill very “large” and floaty like a big baloon in the sky. Very long lasting with amellow easy comedown.

Potency: Very strong with pronounced psychedelic imagery and soaring, rushy body high. Not for the faint of heart, at least in the initial stages of the experience, before eventually (could be hours) the introspective mellow indica high takes over.

Hawaiian Snow

hawaiin snow

Strain Name: Hawaiian Snow

Grade: A

Type: Sativa

Genetics: Hawaiian x Laos

Looks: Dense Buds, the pistils (hairs) are light, dusty orange, and are covering the buds.  The buds are light green but appear yellowish green owing to the heavy trichome coverage.  Any leaf left on a poorly manicured bud adds a slightly darker green to the bud.

Smell: Strong hazy aroma which becomes harder to describe with any other word than “haze”  as I stick my nose in the jar.  For anyone without a haze reference, think lightly sweet with a rich musty or spicy note that could border on astringent.  The sweetness of the musky scent is not sickingly sweet.  The smell of the ground herb is a much stronger musky astringent with practically no hint of sweetness.  The astringent smell almost makes me sneeze.

Taste: The herb was smoked in an unpercolated bong.  The flavor is very mild and slightly pine-y.  The sweetness is dismissible in the flavor of the smoke and I can only taste a slight syrup-y flavor on the exhale, and that sweetness is only present in the first few green hits.  Most of the flavor on exhale is a musty or piney flavor that almost mirrors the smell of the ground herb.  I enjoy this hazy flavor, and I’m very partial to the musty aromas rather than the overwhelmingly sweet ones.

Effects: After 1 hit the buzz is noticeable.  It starts as a heavy brain buzz that is extremely creeper.  This bud makes me want to do something productive, or stimulate my mind in some other way.  The high is very easy going.  If you like sativa effects, these effects are fairly textbook.

Potency: 1.5-2.5hrs
