Looks: Light green with bright thick orange hairs. Lots of crystals glistening in the light. 10/10

Smell: Light smell of earthy herb, other than that there is no smell. Very stealthy. 7/10

Taste: Much like the smell there is no really no taste. It is a very smooth faint earthy herb taste. Put out thick volcano bags. 7/10

Effects: Night time use. Didn’t even finish one volcano bag and my stomach is roaring like a lion and I just ate… Seems to be one of those strains that induces extreme hunger. Strong indica effects with a relatively clear head. Good for pain and stealth like presence. 9/10

Potency: 8/10

Notes: I didn’t like the no smell or no flavor feature, those are my some of my favorite things about good medicine. Only reason I choose this strain is because it looked absolutley gorgeous in the jar. With a stronger smell and taste it could have received a grade A- rating.

Belladonna

traits: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Strain Name: Belladonna

Grade: B+

Type: Sativa

Looks: Light green with red hairs throughout. The tips of the buds are what made them a B+ in my opinion as they are literally covered in crystals.

Smell: Smells like a fresh bowl of fruit loops with deep earthy undertones. I could tell it was cured extremely well because of the smell of the bud.

Taste: Tastes exactly like it smells; a fresh, fruity taste on the inhale followed by a moist earthy taste on the exhale.

Effects: For only being a B+ this sat me on my couch for a good amount of time. No significant munchies from this so dont use as an appetite stimulant. I would suggest nighttime use as it put me to sleep, but its not so overpowering that you couldnt use it during the day for moderate aches and pains.

Strain Name: Querkle

Genetics: TGA Subcool Purple Urkel x Space Queen (Romulan x Cindy 99)

Source: Boulder M.M.C.

Price: $20/gram

Grade: A++

Type: Indica Dominant Hybrid 80% Indica x 20% Sativa

Looks: These smaller buds were like the bottom of the jar, but dude, I was glad to just get a 1/8 of this at all. WOW what beautiful flowers, they kinda glow! A beautiful mix of neon greens, deep purples, violet-red mixes, and bright- orange pistils. All this completely covered with a full frosting of gigantic trichs! This grow was pretty much perfectly executed and timed. Harvested just at the right time, so that the Sativa qualities are not completely overwhelmed by the heavy Indica genetics. Also perfectly handled and well cured. The inside of the jar is just covered with Kief and I’m drifting off on another purple cloud…10/10

Smell: Very pleasant! Comes on like musky sour-grape candy, but is quickly overwhelmed by a fresh organic earth aroma. Smells like walking through a Zen flower garden, just after a cool spring shower. I am so impressed with Subcool’s genetics, when grown under just the right conditions, with lotsa love and devotion, his gear is just genius! A lot of his Genetics are being grown in Colorado and with fabulous results. I think this is because growers in the mountains around Boulder and Ned have been producing fantastic organic, dirt grown medicine in this same fashion for many years! Combine this experience with exotic, well produced genetics and everyone is smilin’!!! 10/10

Taste: Very complex sweet musky grape taste on the inhale, with the deep, earthy Sativa flavors showing up on the exhale. What’s really cool with this medicine is it leaves a sweet grape candy taste in your mouth for quite a while after a biggy- fat bong rip! Nice bonus, all around yummy medicine. I’ll have some more please. 10/10

Effects: Freakin’ perfect hybrid here mang. Very strong soothing purple Indica vibes abound throughout the experience, but I think the C99 must have been a truly powerful alien cause I stay completely alert and focused throughout. Like a super-charged version of the Purple E but longer lasting and way more cerebral. Complete muscle relaxation with these electric waves that course throughout the body, but in a very delicate and euphoric way. This strain instantly puts you in a frame of mind for some for some fun form of heavy creativity! Great for composing symphonies or painting masterpieces. Computer geekin’ or whatever turns you on! This euphoric, space state seems to be pretty much constant for a good two to three hours and gently brings you back to earth with no lingering side effects what so ever. Awesome,,,Purple Power House! 10/10

Potency: Very strong and long lasting 2-3 hrs. The experience is so fun and mellow that I think most tolerances will enjoy this strain. 10/10

Twilight Indica

traits: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Strain Name: Twilight Indica

Grade: B+

Type: 100% Afghani Indica

Looks: Very beautiful, well handled, trichome covered buds. These flowers have an almost gold hue to them from the profusion of amber trichomes covering top to bottom. Lots of thick gnarley rust red and golden yellow hairs add to the over all beauty of these flowers.

Smell: Smelled delicious with an almost buttery lemon-citrus fuel aroma and a delicate sandalwood earthy finish. Leaves a tart lemony flavor in the mouth.

Taste: Overwhelming buttery citrus flavor that last long after the hit. Very smooth smoke with moderate expansion and just a twinge of menthol after taste that reminds of lemon Ricola cough drops.

Effects: This medicine is slow to build up but once it kicks in it produces a euphoric, thick syrupy slow motion state that is very comfortable. All the muscles in my body felt totally relaxed and I had no real motivation to move much at all. Not what I would call an overt couch lock Indica yet better enjoyed in a stationary position watching a favorite Japanese Anime or reading a good thriller.

Potency: Not debilitating but definitely a good potent euphoric Indica. Twilight is a good daytime Indica and makes me very happy every time.

Strain Name: Dairy Queen

Genetics: Cheese X Romulan X Cindy 99

Breeder: TGA Subcool

Grade: A+

Type: Hybrid Sativa Dominant – 60% Sativa / 40% Indica

Looks: Loaded with crystals. Darker green bud with bright orange hair. Super sticky. A few random nugs had a blueish purple leaves. Very gooey and sticky, even when the outside is bone dry. Looks killer, just not as good as other strains that I have given a ten out of ten in the looks dept. This batch was a tad bit leafy, but the leaves were packed with crystals so it was kosher. (9/10)

Smell: Super unique and delicious smell. Smells like a pungent cherry cheese cake slice with a hint of non burnt fuel, earth, clay, and a dash of sour. Slight dash of haze. (10/10)

Taste: All the buds look similar, but some have completely different tastes. There is 3 main flavors I discovered. The first type have a very earthy, clay like, perfumey inhale with a sort of perfumey exhale. The second type tastes very similar to the kush. A very piney, fruity, kush, spicey, earthy taste, this was my favorite flavor. The third type tastes similar to the smell, packing a cherry earthy cheese like flavor with a smooth exhale. The second and third type were the best tasting. Those were a ten out of ten. The first flavor type was a eight out of ten. (9/10)

Effects: Day or night time use. Small amounts gave off the perfect sativa medicinal effects. In larger amounts it felt like a heavy indica. Very potent medicine and well rounded effects! Faded without the munchies or being couchlocked. (10/10)

Potency: Very Strong (9/10)

Good For: Stress, relaxing, anxiety, depression, creative thoughts, and pain relief.

Notes: Seems as if there as three phenotypes in this batch, I liked them all, but the kush / black licorice tasting phenotype was my absolute favorite. Puts out a thick vapor bag from the volcano. The second and third and even the fourth bag that I ran through the volcano still put out a delicious flavor, no burnt popcorn or spent tasting trees here. I really like everything about this strain – it is definitely one of a kind!

Smell: Super fruity! Smells like some potent wild berries with a hint of fresh earth. Love-Love-Love the smell. Very unique smell. (10/10)

Taste: Similar to the smell. Has a berry fruity tasted followed up by a fresh green earthy taste with a faint touch of sour. Has more of an earthy taste then berry taste. Very unique taste. (9/10)

Effects: Day time use. Good for taking the bull by the horn. Got the motivation and thoughts flowing after the first vapor toke like pow. Wide eyed and ready to get er’ done all the while still feeling medicinal effects. Clear head. (10/10)

Strain Name: Purple Haze

Grade: A

Type: Hybrid mainly Sativa (rumored to be a Thai/Colombian Haze crossed with an early Dutch Skunk.

Looks: Vivid purple with bright green leaves and an ample coating of bright orange hairs.

Smell: Extremely Aromatic with smells ranging from heady inscense to a woodsy, almost Sandlewood aroma, to a deeply earthy Haze undertone. Very satisfying olefactry experience indeed.

Taste: The most “Purple” taste of any medicine I’ve ever experienced. Grape candy on the inhale and earthy Sandlewood inscense on the exhale. Almost exactly like the Smell.

Effects: Very soaring, rushy, euphoric effect that is not at all edgey or uncomfortable. This medicine made me fill very “large” and floaty like a big baloon in the sky. Very long lasting with amellow easy comedown.

Potency: Very strong with pronounced psychedelic imagery and soaring, rushy body high. Not for the faint of heart, at least in the initial stages of the experience, before eventually (could be hours) the introspective mellow indica high takes over.
