i would say it smells extremely earthy with a hint of fruit(pineapple), the high is very diffrent from most strains; two destinctive parts of the high- 1, comes on slow with a a strong buzz qnd clear head. 2, the buzz soon turns in to a sleepy and strong high. Personally one of my all time favorite strains.

Question for Pineapple Express growers…very tall and lanky plants with few leaves (bought teen)…how do I get it to tighten up for flowering? Special nutes? Pruning?

Grown this one quite often. Mine were very short and stocky. Though I let them get 18″ to 24″ tall they barely hit three foot when fully flowered. I grow indoors so maybe that is the reason. Are yours outdoors? Prining was done only during the week before lights switched. The pruning consisted of cutting the lowest 4-6 branches then trimming all the nodes up the remainder branches till there were maybe 2 nodes left below the branch tops. Make sense? This causes the girl to forget about putting energy into lower nodes causing the tops to just stack node after node. This makes for some dense cola formations. Enjoy! I know I did and still do!

This was my first time working with Pineapple express and it was very easy to grow seemed quite resistant mildew, mites and slugs. This was my second harvest and this spring I had many chalenges and this one came out on top wand was strongest from seedling to harvest. I obtained a fair amout of flower from this strain. I will be growing this one again. On a consumption end, it takes less than five minutes to feel the early results and about ten minutes to feel full affect. It is a nice delightful feeling, motivating, light and uplifting.

Some people harvest it at 8 weeks or slightly more but I think 9 – 9.5 weeks is best to bring out the “goodness” of the plant.

alright .. that seems about right since my g13 pheno is mostly sativa .. i know at just 6 wks .. the trich production is nasty as can be .. i could prolly shake a bud at 9.5 wks and make it snow u dig ?? __+__ the crystal frost coating the cfl gives is right up my alley .. im adding a small hps ( already have a temp issue .. thats why i went wit cfls) but i figure a 250watt hps will be a bomb biggity addition . ___++ rep ?? holla back and ppl please stop asking to send bud aint gonna happen bacon !@! kick it

Ive been grownig G13 pineapple express for three years now. I only grow for personal use. This plant is the best I’ve found in 12 years of growing.
if its stretching/tall, its due to weak lighting. Increase your light output.
