I was given a script for Sativa. I have never smoked weed during life. My Doc says this will be fantastic for my ADHD and maybe as well my post surgical pain and chronic spinal pain. Can anyone give me some good info? Also it seems like this may be the best thing that could happen for me and all the pain. Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks

Smile strain works well for my SDHD, bipolar, and chronic neck and back pain. It keeps me focused but upbeat like smoking prozac. It is also the only strain that helps with both the cerebral headaches and muscle tension and pain in my neck and back. And it’s not a couch lock smoke either. It’s is very uplifting, 2 puffs and I’m good till the late afternoon, able to work without anyone knowing I’m a mj patient. That’s important to me.

janet sativad generally work great for adhd,anxiety&depression, and pain as well. i would look into a lower grade to start with or just a small ammount of diff types i.e. sour diesel,chem diesel,trainwreck stuff like that. the reason i say a lower grade or dmall ammounts is because you are a newbie and sativas are generally strong strains that if over used can be overwhelming to new smokers.

Well said Ryan- I was going to suggest something similar for Janet- start small with a staiva dominant strain- 50/50 hybrid and an indica dominant strain- try them one at a time on seperate occasions and note the strain specific effects you experience from the different types. Our bodies are unique in how the system metabolizes any thing we ingest- be it food- meds- alcohol.etc. Find what works best for your body and mind and enjoy the research part and hey…. i would recomend a og kush nut depending.on the severity of the pain.you might wanna try something like sour diesel or a ak-47 as they are stronger and good to manage intense pain brought on by arthritis and M.S.

So I recently started using Platinum Bubba Kush as my Daytime, and Kandy Skunk as my evening/nighttime med. I have to say that these two strains BLOW my mind on every facet! If medicinally used, I am clear headed, I don’t have to take my Xanax and Lamictal; nor do I have to take my trazadone at night. My Appetite has increased, and my PTSD is not NEAR as bad! hardly any bad dreams, no anger outbursts, no depressive thoughts…These two grows hit the nail on the head! I will be posting from Peru soon; so I will cultivate my own strains and try to further the medicinal research.

White Widow…or something Indica Dominant. With Narcolepsy a Sativa may just put you out. try anything 70/30 Indica or higher.

I had neck surgery in 1997,since then doctor have had me on 120 valuims a month 10mg and lortabs 10/500 120 a month.Meds dont work anymore,as my tolerance is to high.I live alone with pain,as the cervical bone fusion didnt take and nuerosurgeon says,nothing he can do!

I just got something I haven’t smoked before and to be honest it doesn’t look so great. It’s a bit light green, not alot of trichomes, sprouts of red hairs, a bit of a spicy scent but not very smelly. Very light and fluffy, breaking it open interested me cause it was yellow inside, earthy tasting, strong hitter, Coughed on every hit. You can feel the high coming on as exhale on every hit. I’m a heavy smoker and I try all types besides Reggie and I’m an enhancer smoker and move around alot. This definitely altered my daily high workout when it caused me to pass out. Just don’t know what it is! Any helpers?

North lights, Spicy white devil and Supersonic cristal storm. Long flowering NL is great for back pain and muscle spasms, 12 wks or more. SWD is a sativa dominant hybird head buzz then muscle relaxing, great for work, but be careful. SSCS is an autoflower that other than melt in the couch and can’t hold a thought I have found no use for. Although I slept like quite soundly.

I have a true breading hybrid I created back in the late 80′s. Actually we have 3 true breaders and the original Mother Indica brought from Tibet in the late 70′s and the father plant a very very potent very early Durban from Africa. The 3 true breaders have a lot of the same traits short very very bush one is more of a low spreading hedge, and they all mature at all most the same time. The one has a very very high node( Bud sites) to leaf ratio and has the same leaf phenotype leaves as the mother Indica this is the low hedge one.Her flowers are very very dense, with a light greenyellow calix and and light pink pistils. She flowers very fast and matures in late August early September. She has the amazing aromas and flavors, she smells like rotten onions while flowering but once cured not dry she has the most awful skunk smell more like the chemical smell of skunk if youve every been sprayed you no what I mean. She has the most amazing taste inhale taste like a burnt chocolate milkshake and exhales with that skunkish flavor and stays in your mouth for hours. Her potency is very intense and long lasting 4 to 5 hours, very speedy for the first hour or two then the mummie stage sets in. She works very well for internal pain, insomnia, my older relatives swear its the absolute best nerve medicine in the world, they no longer use Valium Xanax and a couple other I can’t remember . Will tell about My other two lady’s later!
